Teaser for the Evil Dead remake trailer features Comic Con reactions and words from Bruce Campbell

Last Updated on February 11, 2026

The official Facebook page for the EVIL DEAD remake has posted a teaser for the release of tomorrow’s first red-band trailer for the film, featuring video from the New York Comic Con panel with director Fede Alvarez, Bruce Campbell, and Jane Levy, each offering up a few soundbites to hype the film.  It also shows audience reaction and a few snippets from the trailer shown at NYCC.

Take a peek:

The red-band trailer is likely to be the same one shown at NYCC, but that’s not a bad thing.  So far, we’ve seen the bootlegged version, which I thought gave a really cool retro vibe to the film.  I’m curious to see how I’ll feel after seeing a more “refined” trailer.  The trailer seems to be winning over more and more folks who were against the remake to begin with, but there are still plenty who are not feeling it.  And that’s cool.  I can respect that.  However, I’m down with this.  I think it’s quite possible that they’ve made something worthwhile.

EVIL DEAD, starring Jane Levy, Shiloh Fernandez, and Jessica Lucas is slated to start the chainsaw and spew the blood on April 12, 2013.
