In a bit of viral marketing fun, Rainn Wilson has done the unthinkable and kidnapped fellow “Office” co-star Jenna Fischer in order to promote his upcoming comedy THE ROCKER. As he mentioned in the ransom letter he posted on Fischer’s hijacked MySpace blog, he’ll release Jenna only if the film makes 18+ million dollars opening weekend. Thnk he’s joking? He’s so totally not. Fans have even banded together to form a website in support of freeing Jenna. So if you wanna see Jenna freed, go see THE ROCKER on August 20th. Or don’t. You know, cause it’s not a real kidnapping.
