You guys hear about a new indie thriller heading our way called APEX? No you probably haven’t, but that’s what I’m here for!
Scibe Derek Weissbein did us a solid by passing on the details regarding a new virus-driven thriller coming at us from director Cory Braun. The trailer for APEX recently dropped in front of 5,000 people at LeakyCon in Chicago so we’ve also got that for you guys to check out! Before we get to the trailer though, let me hit you all with a quick rundown:
Apex focuses on five friends surviving in LA as a human evolution-changing virus spreads across the United States.
Intriguing right? Braun and Weissbein created the film alongside Yuri Sardarov, who also stars in the film alongside Devin Lytle, Brent Antonello, Charlie Barnett and Evanna Lynch (below), of HARRY POTTER fame. The filmmakers hope to adapt APEX into a TV series eventually but for know we’ll just have to make due with the film.
