Feast your eyes on the revised Straw Dogs remake poster

As you may recall, last month Jared showed you the first poster for STRAW DOGS remake, which was a throwback to the original. A couple of minor tweaks have been made, and the final product can be seen below. I think the new version in all black and white works better myself. How about you?

The redux of the 1971 thriller is written and directed by Rod Lurie (THE CONTENDER). It stars James Marsden, Kate Bosworth (below), Alexander Skarsgård, Dominic Purcell, James Woods and Willa Holland. It hits theaters on September 16 via Sony Screen Gems.

David and Amy Sumner, a Hollywood screenwriter and his actress wife, return to her small hometown in the deep South to prepare the family home for sale after her father’s death. Once there, tensions build in their marriage and old conflicts re-emerge with the locals, including Amy’s ex-boyfriend Charlie, leading to a violent confrontation.
