For some reason the combination of Dennis Hopper and Quentin Tarantino just makes sense to me. Hopper has always been a bit foul mouthed and Tarantino loves to write his characters that way. The duo made for a nice little match in the Christian Slater vehicle TRUE ROMANCE all those years back and now they are reuniting for HELL RIDE. This time Tarantino is only producing and not writing the script, but still – it just makes sense.
Shooting for the revenge filled bloodbath is underway now and Hopper had this to say about his character: “I am playing Eddie ‘Scratch’ Zero,” Hopper tells MTV. “And I couldn’t possibly begin telling you who that is, but he is weird enough.”
Hopper is a part of a cast that has the likes of Vinnie Jones, Eric Balfour and Michael Madsen.
