Last Updated on August 2, 2021

We've been keeping a close eye on the progress of director Joe Cornet's Assault on Rio Bravo, an action-packed "Western with strong Horror elements" that is set to star Alexander Nevsky, Matthias Hues, Michael Paré, and Olivier Gruner – but while we wait for our chance to see that movie, Cornet's Old West thriller Promise (watch it here) has been released in North America!

Thanks to Random Media, Promise is available on iTunes, Google Play, and all of the Digital platforms.

Written, directed, and produced by Cornet, the film is about what happens when

a retired contract scout for the union, compelled to move on from his tragic past, embarks on a deadly mission with gunfight battles, double crosses, and an unexpected showdown to learn what happened to his true love and her little girl.

Cornet also stars alongside Academy Award nominee Don Murray, Trista Robinson, Curt Lambert, and Kerry Goodwin.

If you check out Promise and are left wanting to see more from the director, Cornet's previous films A Prayer for the Damned and Incident at Guild Ridge are available on Amazon Prime Video.
