According to Variety, production on Matt Reeves' THE BATMAN has resumed production at Leavesden Studios outside of London, following the high-profile Covid-19 infection of star Robert Pattinson, who is playing the eponymous superhero. The hope is that no further delays will inhibit the production, which reportedly has only shot 25% of footage.

Set during his second year of crime-fighting, Batman takes on The Riddler, Catwoman, and The Penguin in this dark new take on The Dark Knight.
Meanwhile, Matt Reeves' THE BATMAN – also starring Zoe Kravitz, Jeffrey Wright, Colin Farrell, and Paul Dano as "The Riddler" – is expected to brood into theaters October 1st, 2021…but we'll keep you updated on if there are any delays.
