Alex Garland working on new low-budget horror film!

In a recent interview with Empire, writer-director Alex Garland (ANNIHILATION) says that he's working on a new horror film, which is always exciting. Here's the pertinent quote:

I wrote a low-budget horror movie, set in the UK…I don't know if it's unrealistic or not. Always at this particular moment, a film always feels unrealistic, but then somehow it works out.

While he seems cautious, Empire states that "[c]asting and financing on the project is currently underway, with a view to shoot in spring or summer 2021", meaning it's on track for production, save something catastrophic happening in the interim.

Unfortunately, no plot details revealed as of yet, but we'll definitely keep you posted!
