In the latest development involving a legal battle between Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, the latter is actively accusing Pitt of physically and emotionally abusing both herself and two of their children while on a private plane.

Angelina Jolie alleges that, during the 2016 incident, “Pitt grabbed Jolie by the head and shook her, and then grabbed her shoulders and shook her again before pushing her into the bathroom wall.” It further claims that Pitt was physically abusive to two of their children, choking one and striking another in the face. Geez, what is this, Frontier Airlines?

Representatives for Brad Pitt have vehemently denied any such situations ever occurred. “[Angelina Jolie] continues to rehash, revise and reimagine her description of an event that happened 6 years ago by adding completely untrue information each time she fails to get what she wants. Her story is constantly evolving.”

The lawsuit stems from the handling of the chateau and vineyard that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie bought in 2012, with disputes over financial information and shareholding commanding the case. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the plan was for Pitt to buy out Jolie’s share, “but negotiations broke down when Jolie claimed in closed court proceedings in their child custody case that Pitt abused her and their children.” Of note, the FBI investigated the alleged abuse but did not press charges against Pitt.

The plane incident has been one of the main focuses of the lawsuit and split. Less than one week after the alleged incident, Angelina Jolie filed for divorce from Brad Pitt. The couple was legally married from 2014 to 2019.

Elsewhere, Both Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have been quite busy on the Hollywood scene. Pitt’s Bullet Train did well at the box office and he has the much-anticipated Babylon out this December, while Jolie joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe with Eternals.
