Several weeks ago
I stumbled upon the
trailer for a new vampire flick called NIGHT JUNKIES. It took
the whole vampire mythos in the direction of showing the dark gift as if it were
a drug abuse problem. The
trailer looked pretty cool, and I mean the film did follow a
stripper/escort girl so that there is reason enough to go and check it out.
Well according to NIGHT JUNKIES
writer/director Lawrence Pearce, the film has finally gained STD distribution
(…must…resist…easy…joke…) and may even be headed for a sequel!
Pearce said the following on his MySpace blog:
“Finally, just wanted to let you know that I have
completed the script for the next film. Night Junkies: Unleashed is a bombastic,
crazy, action-packed 2nd film from the Night Junkies world with a much larger
scope.”
I’m actually really looking forward to this film,
it sounds pretty cool. The film was picked up by Allumination, which distributes
directly to Wal-Mart in the U.S. so look for it in July when it’s planned to
