Cool Horror Videos: Things get messy in Marc Cartwright’s Sloven

The official day of Halloween is still almost eight months away, but as the meme says, every day is Halloween for a horror fan. In that spirit, today we share writer/director Marc Cartwright's short film SLOVEN, which is set on my favorite holiday and centers on 

a guy who comes home to find his untidy roommate has left the house particularly messy… Or has something unearthly created the disorder?

This is a one man show for Baker Chase Powell, an actor I recognized from the indie slasher DISMEMBERING CHRISTMAS. Powell does a fine job carrying the short on his own, leading us through this six and a half minutes of "What is going on here?"
