THE GIRL WITH THE DRAGON TATTOO proved that director Niels Arden Oplev and star Noomi Rapace make a great team, so it’s just as well for fans of hard-hitting cinema everywhere that they’re set to work together once more for a movie called DEAD MAN DOWN.

Joined by Colin Farrell, Dominic Cooper, and Terrence Howard, and with a script from J.H. Wyman, you can now mark April 5th, 2013 as the day this crime-thriller makes its way to theaters.

Plot recap: Victor (Farrell), a professional killer and the right hand man to an underground crime lord in New York City (Howard), is seduced and blackmailed by Beatrice (Rapace), a crime victim seeking retribution. Their chemistry and intense relationship leads them to execute a violent and cathartic plan for revenge.
