First Look: Tom Jane in Stephen King’s 1922

Last Updated on July 30, 2021

Tom Jane loves to star in adaptions of Stephen King's work. With roles in not only THE MIST but the (mostly) forgotten 2003 DREAMCATCHER, the man seems to be the go-to for King films. I'm not complaining by any means, I'm just here to tell you about the newest one.

The last we heard from the upcoming adaptation of Stephen King novella 1922 was that the flick was all set to premiere alongside Mike Flanagan's King movie GERALD'S GAME at this year's Fantastic Fest.

For those who cannot wait until then for their first look, then you're in luck as we have our first two official stills from the movie, both featuring Tom Jane looking ready to beat some pre-Depression era ass.

After you check out all the Tom Jane glory below, make sure to hit us up and let us know what you think in the new comments section below or on Facebook, Twitter, and/or Instagram!

1922 synopsis:

A father (Tom Jane) manipulates his teenaged son into helping him murder his own mother.

1922 is directed by Zak Hilditch from a screenplay he wrote based on King's 131-page novella from Full Dark, No Stars. The film stars Tom Jane, Molly Parker, Dylan Schmid, Kaitlyn Bernard, Brian d’Arcy James and Neal McDonough.

1922 premieres at this year's Fantastic Fest and then hits Netflix October 20th.
