When I heard that they were filming a flick about
Wesley Snipes being a gun toting cowboy who has to kill everyone twice, since
the people he kills, get up and kill (in zombie form of course) I was a little
skeptical. The whole thing seemed a little goofy and too much like his
BLADE character, except now set in the wild west with zombies instead
of in the city with vampires.
With that said, it seems that I might have
totally dismissed this thing way to early because
Fangoria got a hold of some pics from GALLOWWALKER, which is
directed by Andrew Goth and written by both Goth and Joanne Reay, and the pics
are looking mighty cool.
Seen both above and below are the pics from
GALLOWWALKER, a film in which Wesley Snipes plays
Aman, a
gunfighter who kills all who cross him, only for his victims to return as the
vengeance-seeking walking dead.
While the film doesn’t yet have an official
release date, it is slated to hit theatre’s sometime early 2008. There is a
webpage up here
but as far as I can tell it’s just a silhouette of Snipes with some long braids.
