News has really been ramping up for Blumhouse's upcoming HALLOWEEN sequel from writers Danny McBride and David Gordon Green. The last word we shared on the new film was that Jamie Lee Curtis is all set to return as Laurie Strode and today we have news that the film will begin shooting next month!

Co-writer/director David Gordon Green broke the news to Filmmaker Magazine and said that the new Blumhouse HALLOWEEN (2018) will be filming in six weeks in Charleston.

Co-writer/director David Gordon Green on HALLOWEEN:

We start shooting in six weeks in Charleston. I can’t say too much more as we are trying to keep things tight right now, but we are doing something unique. John Carpenter is involved as well, which is like a dream to me. The two films I couldn’t watch growing up were Halloween and Revenge of the Nerds, so I can’t wait to invite my parents to this one.
