Boom! relaunches Hellraiser ongoing with Dark Watch

While there’s jack-all going on in the world of the HELLRAISER film series, the comics are a whole different story. Though BOOM! Studios seemingly canced their ongoing HELLRAISER comic last month (with issue #20), they are going to be relaunching the Cenobites back onto shelves this February with a brand new series, HELLRAISER: DARK WATCH.

This new ongoing will be written by Brandon Seifert (who previously wrote the mini-series HELLRAISER: THE ROAD BELOW) and franchise figurehead Clive Barker. Tom Garcia will continue his HELLRAISER run by providing artwork while Tim Bradstreet (THE PUNISHER) will be doing the series’ main covers. The first issue will be a whopping 32-page affair priced at a mere $3.99. Check out the synopsis below to get up to speed on the drastic changes Barker is implementing on the infrastructure of the Hell.
