Brad Anderson’s The Hive gets a new title and release date

Why is Halle Berry so happy in the behind-the-scenes pic above? Perhaps she just got the news that her serial killer thriller THE HIVE is getting a new title and release date. The Sony/WWE Films produced film has been redubbed THE CALL and will be released March 25th, 2013– the very date Kimberly Peirce’s CARRIE just vacated.

THE CALL, directed by SESSION 9 helmer Brad Anderson, centers on a 911 operator (Berry) who must confront a serial killer from her past to save the life of a young girl. The film has Abigail Breslin, Morris Chesnut, Michael Eklund, Michael Imperioli and WWE heel David Otunga rounding out the supporting cast.
