Brad Pitt & World War Z director Marc Forster not talking? This can’t be good…

Man production on the highly anticipated zombie adaptation WORLD WAR Z has been a mess since the get-go. First it took everything to even get the flick rolling and now we’ve got one problem after another.

First we have new writers coming on board in the midst of filming to touch up the ending of the flick, and now comes the news that star Brad Pitt and director Marc Forster aren’t even on speaking terms! According to NY Mag’s Vulture Mr. Pitt (above right) has become so frustrated with Forster (above left) that he’s just stopped talking to him completely with a least three weeks of reshoots underway.

Apparently Pitt has final say over the new script pages, not Forester. And until that shite is OK’d there’s no telling how long, or how much, the looming reshoots will be. Word has it another director will most likely be brought on to help direct some of the new action scenes.

The story revolves around United Nations employee Gerry Lane, who traverses the world in a race against time to stop the Zombie pandemic that is toppling armies and governments and threatening to decimate humanity itself.

Matthew Fox, Mireille Enos, David Morse and James Badge Dale all join Pitt in the zombie drama, which is currently set to hit theaters on June 21, 2013. I’m sure more WORLD WAR Z news will be spilling our way very soon so be sure to check back for more as we hear it.
