Bruce Campbell confirms Army of Darkness 2

That headline caught your attention, didn't it?

Of course it did! We've all been awaiting some kind of confirmation that a sequel to Sam Raimi's 1992 cult classic ARMY OF DARKNESS ever since we first heard the rumblings that it was in the works earlier this year. Now Ash himself, Bruce Campbell, has given us the confirmation we've all been wanting at the Wizard World Nashville Comic Con on Friday, where Campbell was asked by a fan, “Are you going to make a sequel to Army of Darkness?”. His reply:

The last one was twenty-two years ago. I just haven’t been racing to do it. Sam Raimi is just a little bit busy making the biggest movies in Hollywood. I used to be busy. Now I’m not. That’s why I’m here."

When the fan told him a lot of people would want to see it, Campbell said...

“Ash would have to stop occasionally from chasing some deadite to catch his breath. Maybe we could do that, I guess. That would be exciting. Fight in a walker. That would be alright. Hit them with my cane. Fake them out, have a fake heart attack, distract a zombie. I like it.”

Then Campbell got more serious, and he added...

“Alright sir, the answer is yes.”

And there we have it! It appears that ARMY OF DARKNESS 2 is going to happen and Bruce Campbell will be returning to his iconic role of Ash. Does this news excite you as much as it does me? Spit bullets below and let us know what you think!
