Christopher Lee, 91, has another heavy metal Christmas album out

Last Updated on August 5, 2021

I’m not going to pretend I understand Christopher Lee’s side gig as a Christmas-loving death metal rocker, but maybe it need not be explored or explained. What I do know is that at 91-years-old, the beloved horror movie thespian has just debuted his third straight holiday metal track: this one called “Darkest Carols, Faithful Sing.” You can listen to a sample below.

The actor, who has starred in almost 300 movies including ‘The Lord of the Rings’, ‘Star Wars’, ‘The Man with the Golden Gun’, ‘Dracula’, ‘The Wicker Man’ and most recently ‘The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies’, had these wise words to impart:

At my age, the most important thing for me is to keep active by doing things that I truly enjoy. I do not know how long I am going to be around, so every day is a celebration and I want to share it with my fans.”

Only one thing to say to that: Rock on!
