Clinger to receive a limited theatrical release October 23rd

Back in April, we got a look at the trailer for Michael Steves’ horror/comedy CLINGER when the film was picked up for distribution by Paragon. Paragon is now set to release the film into select theatres on October 23rd, a fact which is promoted in the new TV spot that can be viewed below.

CLINGER tells the following story:

When her overly-attentive high school boyfriend, Robert, dies in a gruesome accident, Fern’s life is thrown into turmoil. Senior year gets more complicated when Robert returns from the dead as a love-sick ghost and tries to rekindle their romance. But being dead only exacerbates Robert’s possessiveness, and things take a deadly turn when Fern tries to break up with him. Robert realizes that the only way to save his relationship is to kill his high school sweetheart so they can be together for eternity.

Steves wrote the screenplay with Gabi Chennisi Duncombe and Bubba Fish, and judging from the trailer and TV spot it looks like he might have turned it into a very entertaining film.

Jennifer Laporte and Vincent Martella star as Fern and Robert, with the supporting cast including Julia Aks, Alicia Monet Caldwell, Shonna Major, Rebecca Gail, Debbie Rochon, and Lisa Wilcox… DREAM MASTER/DREAM CHILD Lisa Wilcox? This is a must watch for sure!
