It was only a few minutes ago that I shared an update on the world of one of my favorite current horror director Mike Flanagan and his work on the I KNOW WHAT YOU DID LAST SUMMER remake.
Well, now I'm pleased to bring you guys an update on one of my other favorite current horror directors, Adam Wingard.
The last we heard from Wingard – who directed YOU'RE NEXT and THE GUEST to name a few – was that he was set to take the helm of the GODZILLA VS KONG movie heading our way within the next few years. Before that though, we have Wingard's Netflix adaptation of DEATH NOTE to look forward to.
And today we have the movie's poster to share!
Wingard took to Twitter to share the first official poster for the movie and I dig it. It's simple and only makes me more excited to check out the movie once it hits the streaming service later this year.
