The new poster for Rob Zombie’s LORDS OF SALEM has appeared and, not unlike the last one we saw, it’s blue all over. (It’s part of the “blue series” of posters, according to Zombie.) It’s also sporting the same tagline: “We’ve been waiting… we’ve always been waiting.” Well, we’ve been waiting too, for about a year, so let’s get this mother a release date already, okay?

THE LORDS OF SALEM, which will have its premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival next month, focuses on Heidi (Sheri Moon Zombie), a radio station DJ, who receives a wooden box containing a record, “a gift from the Lords.” Heidi listens and the bizarre sounds within the grooves immediately trigger flashbacks of Salem’s violent past. Is Heidi going mad or are the Lords of Salem returning for revenge on modern day Salem?

Joining Ms. Zombie in the film are Sid Haig, Bruce Davidson, Christopher Knight, Ken Foree, Billy Drago, Richard Lynch, John Five, Lisa Marie, Maria Conchita Alonso, Ernest Thomas, Michael Shamus Wiles, Barbara Crampton, Brandon Cruz, Jeff Daniel Phillips, Michael Berryman, Patricia Quinn, Judy Gleeson and Dee Wallace Stone.
