It was just earlier today that we posted our glowing review for writer-director Coralie Fargeat’s rape-revenge flick, aptly titled REVENGE. We summed up the film by saying the film is basically the equivalent of Nicolas Winding Refn directing a remake of I SPIT ON YOUR GRAVE. Sound summation.

Synopsis:

Three entrepreneurs gather for their annual hunting trip. One of them brought his mistress, a sexy lolita. Things turn bad and the woman is left for dead. When she gets back to life, the boys’ trip turns into a manhunt in the middle of the desert…

The film is written and directed by Coralie Fargeat and stars Matilda Lutz, Kevin Janssens, Vincent Colombe, and Guillaume Bouchède. REVENGE hits theaters and VOD May 11.
