The recently revealed poster didn’t quite manage to sell me on the horror/comedy COCKNEYS VS. ZOMBIES, but having seen this new red band trailer, I’m officially stoked to see the flick. It’s Brit hilarity in the vein of SHAUN OF THE DEAD with Alan “Brick Top” Ford being as badass as ever. Do yourself a favor and check out the trailer below.
A bunch of east-enders fight their way out of a zombie-infested London, led by an unlikely gang of amateur bank robbers and foul-mouthed plucky pensioners.
Written by James Moran and Lucas Roche and directed by Matthias Hoene, the movie stars Michelle Ryan (below), Rasmus Hardiker, Harry Treadaway and Alan Ford. COCKNEYS VS. ZOMBIES will be unleashed on UK theaters on August 31st. We’ll hopefully hear of a US release date soon.
