Some sad news coming out today folks. It seems the industry has lost two big names within just a few hours of each other.

First the announcement came that Sage Stallone, the son of action legend Sylvester Stallone, was found dead in his apartment Friday afternoon. Stallone (above), who made his film debut alongside his dad in ROCKY V, was 36 years old. According to TMZ Stallone’s death was caused by a possible overdose on pills. The young-man was planning on getting married.

It was also recently announced that Oscar-winning producer Richard D. Zanuck has passed away at the age of 77. He died Friday of a heart attack in his home in Beverly Hills. The award-winning producer has had his name on several classic films such as THE STING, DRIVING MISS DAISY, COCOON, THE VERDICT, THE EXORCIST and JAWS. More recently he produced Tim Burton fare ALICE IN WONDERLAND and DARK SHADOWS. Zanuck (below right) actually worked with Burton on a whopping six films. We here at AITH would like to extend our deepest sympathies to the families of Mr. Stallone and Mr. Zanuck, may they both Rest in Peace.

In other tragic news it seems Michael Clarke Duncan was recently rushed to the hospital after cardiac arrest. According to TMZ the 54-year-old actor was resuscitated by girlfriend Omarosa Stallworth early Friday morning. He’s currently being treated in a Los Angeles hospital.
