THE VOICES has been pretty quiet over the last few months as the last word we got on this genre-bending flick was that Jacki Weaver had recently join the cast. Other than that though, not much has been going on for the Marjane Satrapi-directed film. Today it was announced that THE VOICES would be screening at Sundance this year as part of the out-of-competition premieres section. So with that, we've got a shiny new still featuring Ryan Reynolds (above) talking to a cat and a severed head just chilling on the coffee table. Interested? So are we!
This genre-bending tale centers around Jerry Hickfang, a lovable but disturbed factory worker who yearns for attention from a woman in accounting. When their relationship takes a sudden, murderous turn, Jerry’s evil talking cat and benevolent talking dog lead him down a fantastical path where he ultimately finds salvation.
