Sam Worthington looking to join Arnold Schwarzenegger in action flick Ten

Last Updated on August 5, 2021

Well it’s a pretty slow news day on this dreary Tuesday morning so I’ve decided to take a little detour from our beloved genre and give you all an update on an intriguing action flick heading our way. The flick in question is something called TEN and stars the one and only Arnold Schwarzenegger. So it’s more than welcome around these parts!

News today breaking over at Variety has fellow action star Sam Worthington looking to step up alongside Schwarzenegger for TEN. Worthington is expected to sign on if everything goes according to plan, which it most likely will. Peep the rundown for this shite:

A testosterone-heavy riff on Agatha Christie’s “Ten Little Indians,” the film follows an elite DEA task force that robs a dangerous drug cartel under the guise of a tactical raid on one of its safe houses. They think they’ve gotten away with millions in merch, until team members begin getting bumped off one by one.

Coming from director David Ayer, the action-thriller is financed by QED International with Open Road Films handling distribution stateside. Skip Woods penned the screenplay for TEN with QED’s Bill Block and Paul Hanson producing alongside Joe Roth and Palak Patel of Roth Films and Albert Ruddy. Alex Ott of Ayer’s Crave Films will executive produce.

What do you guys think? TEN have some potential? With an action duo like Worthington (above) and Schwarzenegger how can it not, right? We’ll keep an eye on this one and as soon as more goods roll our way we’ll be right here to pass them along to all of you.
