Teaser trailer rises for Night of the Living Dead: Resurrection

Last Updated on August 5, 2021

There are often so many NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD remakes/ripoffs that I can hardly keep them all in my brain. This is one of the ones that escaped: NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD: RESURRECTION. We last wrote about it in July, when it was first announced; since then there’s been nil on the project, hence why I ceased to think about it.

But today brings us a dark, moody teaser trailer for the flick, which comes from UK director James Plumb. It’s not a terrible preview, although it does indicate a movie with a very low budget indeed. It won’t cancel out any questions you may have regarding the necessity of this movie’s existence, that’s for certain.

In 2012 the deceased have risen from their graves with only one instinct: to feed on the living. As academics speculate on the scientific cause of the phenomena, theologians point to the Armageddon foretold in the Book of Revelation. As the cities are overrun and civilization crumbles, a family take refuge from the undead army in an isolated farmhouse in West Wales. But the greatest threat is already among them.

You can expect NOTLD: R sometime in 2012.
