Last month Jake hit us all with the news that Nick Swardson would be starring in an R-rated animated feature coming our way called HELL & BACK. While I’m sure the thing is going to be laced with Nick Swardson-type humor it still sounds pretty damn intriguing. Especially with today’s announcement!

According to Variety three more funny-men have joined the growing cast of the animated feature. Those names are Brian Posehn, Kumail Nanjiani and Rob Riggle. The three comedians join fellow stand-up vets Swardson and TJ Miller in the film.

“Riggle will play a 20-year old who’s starting to grow up, much to the chagrin of his friends Augie and Remy. Posehn will portray an aging heavy-metal fan stuck in the ’80s and Nanjiani will play Sal the Demon, an employee of hell.”

Sounds like some spot-on casting to me! Peep the rundown for HELL & BACK, which is coming at us from directors Tommy Gianas and Ross Shuman:

Story revolves around two best friends who must rescue their buddy when he’s accidentally dragged to hell.

There’s no denying HELL & BACK has some major potential, right? We’ll be keeping a close eye on this one and as soon as any other updates come our way we’ll be sure to pass that shite right along to all of you.
