Trailer: Fred Durst’s The Fanatic starring John Travolta

Last Updated on July 30, 2021

Limp Bizkit frontman Fred Durst's THE FANATIC starring John Travolta as a one-eyed stalker hunting and tormenting Devon Sawa's movie star character is headed to theaters, VOD, and digital next month. And today we have the movie's killer trailer to share with you guys.

The story is inspired by a real-life fan who pursued Durst many years ago, and the screenplay was written by Durst and Dave Bekerman. It follows

Moose (played by John Travolta), who gets cheated out of meeting his hero, Hunter Dunbar (Devon Sawa; Idle Hands, Final Destination). Moose then hunts down Dunbar to get the celebrity interaction he feels he deserves. Harmless at first, Moose’s actions begin to take a dark turn. Against the advice of his friend Leah (Ana Golja), Moose begins to make frequent visits to his hero’s private home. As the visits continue to escalate, Dunbar finds himself in increasing danger.

I don't know about you but I'm interested in checking out this film if only to see just how bonkers it is. I mean, one way or the other I don't see this flick meaning one of those middle-of-the-road movies. What do you think? Let us know below! It hits theaters, VOD, and digital on August 30, 2019.
