Humans and a couple of robots in these new Transformers: Dark of the Moon stills

Explosions and massive balls of fire are imminent as the release of Michael Bay’s TRANSFORMERS: DARK OF THE MOON fast approaches. But don’t let these relatively quaint new images from the film bore you too much. They’re but the calm before the digital storm of Bay-approved CG assf*ckery we’re all in store for. And I for one cannot wait.

Synopsis: The Autobots – Bumblebee, Ratchet, Ironhide and Sideswipe – led by Optimus Prime, are back in action, taking on the evil Decepticons who are determined to avenge their prior defeat. In this new film, the Autobots and Decepticons become involved in a perilous space race between the U.S. and Russia, and once again human Sam Witwicky (Shia LaBeouf) has to come to the aid of his robot friends. There are new characters too, including a new villain in the form of Shockwave, a longtime ‘Transformers’ character who rules Cybertron while the Autobots and Decepticons battle it out on Earth.
