INT: Melonie Diaz

Melonie Diaz seems to be appearing in quite a few “indie” flicks including THE ITTY BITTY TITTY COMMITTEE, A GUIDE TO RECOGNIZING YOUR SAINTS, RAISING VICTOR VARGAS and the soon to be released HAMLET 2. And it is easy to see why this girl is getting work. She is terrific in the new film from Michel Gondry, BE KIND REWIND.

This was her first time dealing with the press for a motion picture, at least doing a junket, but I couldn’t tell. Sitting down with her at The Four Seasons in Beverly Hills, I was very impressed with her. She is a really a charming girl. I have a feeling we will be seeing a whole bunch more of her work after this and HAMLET 2. But you can check her out now, in BE KIND REWIND opening this Friday.
