Well it seems that the film with a thousand names has finally
stopped long enough for someone to grab a few still’s and our good German
friends over at
Blairwitch.de have scooped them up and posted them for all to see.
THE INVASION, previously known as THE
VISITING, tells the story of a mysterious
epidemic that alters the behavior of human beings. When a Washington D.C.
psychiatrist discovers the epidemic’s origins are extraterrestrial, she must
fight to protect her son, who may hold the key to stopping an imminent invasion.
While it’s not an official remake of the 1978
classic
INVASION OF THE BODY SNATCHERS, it is based on
the same novel which was written by Jack Finney (The Body Snatchers), and still
seems to scream remake to me. I will admit though that since it’s been tweaked
so much that there may be a semi-original story line hidden within, and Nicole
Kidman and Daniel Craig may be able to pull something spectacular off here.
