James Gunn, Guardians of the Galaxy, COVID-19

The COVID-19 pandemic has shut down many aspects of our daily life, forcing much of us to spend a lot of time in our homes, but thankfully, the sweet embrace of movies and TV is there to comfort us. Over the course of the past few weeks, we've binged countless hours of content, but if you've got a hole in your schedule tomorrow, you might be interested in taking part in a quarantine watch party of GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY with writer/director James Gunn.

ComicBook.com's Brandon Davis announced that he would be hosting a quarantine watch party of GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY yesterday, tweeting that he hoped James Gunn would join the fun, and it seems that the director is down.

Fans across Twitter and Instagram will be able to join in on the quarantine watch party event by using #QuarantineWatchParty and #GotG hashtags. All you need to do is break out your DVD, Blu-ray, 4K Ultra HD, Digital copy, or fire up the Disney+ streaming service and press play at 9:00pm ET on April 7th. Sounds like it could be fun! Before the COVID-19 pandemic brought much of Hollywood to a stand-still, James Gunn had completed production on THE SUICIDE SQUAD. Once post-production work on the Warner Bros. film is completed, Gunn will be turning his attentions towards the third volume of GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY.
