Joe Bob’s Halloween Hideaway special promises homicidal Druids and 2 zombies

Last Updated on July 30, 2021

Last month, we shared the news that legendary movie host Joe Bob Briggs is bringing a new special to the Shudder streaming service just in time for Halloween. This special is called JOE BOB'S HALLOWEEN HIDEAWAY, and in the U.S. and Canada it's going to premiere live on the ShudderTV feed Friday, October 23. It will be made available to watch on demand as of Monday, October 26

Horror host and drive-in movie expert Joe Bob has left the trailer park behind in favor of a more remote retreat, but he’s still ready to serve up a double feature of films hand-picked for your Halloween enjoyment.

As usual, the titles of the films Joe Bob will be showing are being kept under wraps until the special airs, but a promo has been posted to social media that gives some intriguing hints: the movies were released thirty-one years apart, viewers will be seeing two zombies as the films play out, and both of them feature homicidal Druids.

Well, I'm stumped. I can't, off the top of my head, think of two movies that have homicidal Druids, zombies, and were released thirty-one years apart. I look forward to finding out what the movies are this weekend.
