Terrifyingly gorgeous full-lipped goddess Kerry Washington along with Mos Def and Alfre Woodard have joined the cast of the drama BURY ME STANDING. In it, Woodard stars as a grieving mother (of Def, presumably) who, in what would appear to be a fit of brash emotional impulsiveness, proposes a “backdoor baby deal” to exchange Washington’s unborn child for her house. Though that plot sounds ripe for hilarity and gut-busting hijinks, it’s a drama. Production is expected to soon start in Philadelphia under director Caran Hartsfield, who also wrote the script. Washington can currently be seen exposing her fetish for stone monsters in RISE OF THE SILVER SURFER, has the drama LIFE IS HOT IN CRACKTOWN coming up and is currently filming the drama LAKEVIEW TERRACE with Mr. Bad Ass Mofo himself Sam Jackson.
