The Greatest John Carpenter Fan
in Spain
may just be my new best friend since they sent me these kick-ass
EL ORFANATO
posters that just look so damn good!

Seen both above and below you’ll
notice the latest in teaser posters for the Guillermo del Toro produced and Juan
Bayona directed horror flick EL ORFANATO, each of them looking great and
sorta freaky. (Especially the potato sack freak!)

EL ORFANATO
follows a woman named Laura who
returns to the house where she was raised, and decides to transform it into an
orphanage. Soon, her son, Simón, makes an invisible friend, but what is this
friend really only her son’s imagination?

I cannot wait for this movie. After
watching

this trailer
it totally reminded me of Del
Toro’s
THE DEVIL’S BACKBONE
, which I feel is one of
the best ghost story movies that I’ve seen. Hopefully that will equate that
EL ORFANATO
will also rock our socks! There hasn’t been any official
news as to when we’ll have a chance to see it, although rumor has it that it
will be playing at this years Cannes Film Festival on May 20th.

Thanks again go out to The
Greatest John Carpenter Fan in Spain
who hooked me up with all these sweet
posters.
