Move over Baby Yoda, it’s time for Baby Jabba!

Disney+'s The Mandalorian heralded a new chapter in the STAR WARS universe. The show marked the first time audiences experienced a live-action tale from a galaxy far, far away in television form. While Pedro Pascal's beskar wearing anti-hero ruled the day, his gruff and abrupt manner was counterbalanced by the bundle of green cuteness dubbed Baby Yoda. The cub to Mando's lone wolf, the member of Yoda's species was the real MVP of season one, capturing the hearts of STAR WARS fans worldwide.

STAR WARS fans however are a fickle bunch. What is popular one moment can quickly become a dim memory the next. To misquote Captain Marvel, there's always someone trying to go "higher, further, faster." Such is the case with 3-D character development artist Leonardo Viti. Inspired by Baby Yoda, the UK artist imagined what our favorite frog eating, rancor owning, sarlaac loving Hutt gangster may have looked like as a baby. The results are the living embodiment of a chef's kiss:

Listen I know that Jabba the Hutt was a vile, reprehensible villain. The guy turned Han Solo into a piece of art to hang on his wall. He also didn't give two shits about how many Gamorrean guards he lost and was pretty stingy when negotiating compensation with bounty hunters. Furthermore, the guy had terrible taste in music. However, you can't deny the endearing quality of Leonardo Viti's work. I mean look at that face! How could you not fall in love with that little chonk? Aside from being adorable, the 3-D work itself is exceptional. Someone needs to hire this guy to do practical effects for the next STAR WARS film. It's a piece worthy of Leonardo da Vinci.

So what do you guys think of Vitti's work? Do you love it? Is Baby Darth Maul next? What about toddler Bib Fortuna? Sound off in the comments below!
