According to Norman Reedus, The MacManus Brothers are reuniting for a third Boondock Saints film

There is definitely a divide when it comes to THE BOONDOCK SAINTS. You have your diehards who have given the film its cult following, and you have those who think the movie is a ridiculous piece of crap. While I am not a diehard, I did enjoy the first film and the sequel was just okay.

Those of you who are fans of the MacManus Brothers might be interested in a tidbit of info that Norman Reedus shared with IFC during an interview for the third season of THE WALKING DEAD.

Here’s what he had to say:

“I’m in L.A right now,” Reedus said when asked about a third “Boondock Saints” movie. “I’m meeting with Sean [Patrick Flanery] and Troy [Duffy] tonight. I just landed a couple hours ago and tonight I’m going over to Troy’s house with Sean. It’s definitely in the works. Look for it. It’s gonna be crazy.”

The band is getting back together, and let’s hope that something “crazy” will come out of it. I’ll be interested in seeing what the three come up with for a third installment. It’s definitely a nice treat for those who may not have been as impressed with the sequel.

We will have more as it develops! So stay tuned!
