Ladies and gentlemen, cinephiles of all ages, we're just eight weeks away from the release of Marvel's AVENGERS: ENDGAME, and BoxOffice.com has the Russo Brothers-directed action blockbuster tracking at $265 million for its domestic opening. While that might sound like couch change to Tony Stark, BoxOffice says that the film could go on to earn as much as $290 million during its three-day opening.

To put things in perspective, AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR launched to the tune of $257.6 million (domestically) last year, thereby dethroning STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS as protector of the crown.

Directed by both Joe and Anthony Russo, AVENGERS: ENDGAME continues the thread started in 2018's AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR, a film that left Marvel fans on the edge of their seats and with tears in their eyes. The incredibly-anticipated follow-up film finds Tony Stark adrift in space with no food or water. In his desperation, Tony sends a touching distress message to Pepper Potts as his oxygen supply continues to deplete. Back home, those who are left of Earth's Mightiest Heroes – Thor, Black Widow, Captain America and Bruce Banner, among others – must find a way to undo the work of the Mad Titan, Thanos, who on the verge of defeat, snapped his fingers, thereby erasing half of the planet's population. Together, the Avengers, alongside their surviving compatriots, must devise a way to re-write reality itself.

AVENGERS: ENDGAME stars damn near every Marvel actor under the sun, including Brie Larson, Bradley Cooper, Elizabeth Olsen, Chris Hemsworth, Evangeline Lilly, Scarlett Johansson, Karen Gillan, Josh Brolin, Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr., Tom Holland, Don Cheadle, Paul Rudd, Michelle Pfeiffer, Sebastian Stan, Gwyneth Paltrow, Pom Klementieff, Dave Bautista, Jeremy Renner, Jon Favreau, Chadwick Boseman, Tilda Swinton, Mark Ruffalo, Benedict Cumberbatch, Frank Grillo, Letitia Wright, Winston Duke, Benedict Wong, the kitchen sink, and many more!

Will you be adding to the opening weekend totals for AVENGERS: ENDGAME when the film explodes into theaters on April 29th?
