I've got some disappointing news for all you Baron Zemo fans out there. Daniel Bruhl will star as the Marvel villain in CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR, and the actor recently revealed to Business Insider that he won't be wearing the character's trademark purple mask.

Bruhl went on to say his Baron Zemo will be "different than what you'd think" and is "loosely connected" to the comic book version, while also adding "That's what I like about the Marvel guys, some of the characters and things they're dealing with always reference to current events so my character is from a different area than you would think." But the actor also says "there's a possibility" he could return as the villain for future movies since "that's the way it's written," so I'm hopeful that the character will end up donning his classic mask for his next big screen outing. Are bummed that Bruhl's Baron Zemo won't look exactly like he does in the comics?

CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR is due in theaters on May 6, 2016.
