Get reunited with Ethan Hawke and Julie Delpy in the first trailer for Richard Linklater's Before Midnight

The third part of director Richard Linklater's relationship spanning series, BEFORE MIDNIGHT, starring Ethan Hawke and Julie Delpy as bickering romantics who cross paths and exchange dialogue that dives deep into the heartbeat of two people struggling to love and understand one another.  BEFORE SUNRISE and it's sequel BEFORE SUNSET, both played on the walking-and-talking beat between the two characters of Jesse (Hawke) and Celine (Delpy), making you feel as if you were a fly on the wall listening to these two characters go through their emotional crux.  They are awesome, emotional, and beautifully acted films and I'm stoked to see another chapter.

BEFORE MIDNIGHT was shot "in secret" by Linklater and premiered at Sundance this year (read our review here) and continues the journey of Jesse and Celine as they head into midlife and deal not just with each other, but with their children. The trailer does a fine job of teasing what you'd expect without giving anything significant away, so you're in safe hands with this.

Take a look:

Here's the brief synopsis:

We meet Jesse and Celine nine years on in Greece. Almost two decades have passed since their first meeting on that train bound for Vienna.

BEFORE MIDNIGHT is set to debut on May 24, 2013.

Extra Tidbit: I seriously hope Linklater, Hawke, and Delpy continue to reunite for this series every five years or so. I'd love to see this continue for as long as it can. You?
