Listen to Howard Shore’s stunning Hugo score

Paramount has uploaded a sampling of the original score from HUGO, and if you haven’t seen the film yet you’re going to want to, immediately. I mean, at this point an amazing Howard Shore score shouldn’t surprise anyone but that’s just what we’ve got here.

Why’s Paramount offering this? Well, they have a bit of an ulterior motive, as they’re currently putting in a bid to win Best Original Song for “Cœur Volant”. HUGO’s already getting a lot of buzz thanks to its recent award wins from the National Board of Review, so we’ll see if they can turn this into Oscar gold.
