New 007 production blog for Skyfall dives into the film's underwater fight sequence

Yet another production blog has popped up online for 007's next big-screen outing, SKYFALL, and it's rather impressive.  The logistics of shooting an underwater fight sequence are covered in detail and it's a daunting task just to watch the filmmakers set up and execute the shoot.  Everything from lighting to communication to underwater effects are covered, highlighting the intense amount of preparation for such a sequence.  As these production blogs begin to wrap up in anticipation for SKYFALL's premiere next month, I think it goes without saying that they've been exceptional in giving fans a peek at the process of bringing the renowned spy's 23rd outing to life.  Job well done!

Hold your breath:

Here's the synopsis:

Daniel Craig is back as James Bond 007 in Skyfall, the 23rd adventure in the longest-running film franchise of all time. In Skyfall, Bond’s loyalty to M (Judi Dench) is tested as her past comes back to haunt her. As MI6 comes under attack, 007 must track down and destroy the threat, no matter how personal the cost. The film also stars Berenice Marlohe, Judi Dench, Naomie Harris, Ben Whishaw, Helen McCroy, Albert Finney, and Ralph Fiennes.

SKYFALL hits IMAX theaters on November 8, 2012 and opens wide a day later, November 9, 2012.
