If you tuned in to watch Lada Gaga's concert last night (and nothing else), you might have seen a few TV spots for GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 2. Fortunately for us, there were actually two released (you can check out the second below) alongside a nifty, new poster. As it should be, (almost) every Guardian gets their own, personalized mixtape. Well it's no secret that Kurt Russell is playing Ego, but I'm guessing Marvel wants to build up the mystery/hype just a touch. In any case, it's hard to go wrong with the marketing for these films. The retro aesthetic fits this sci-fi opera like a glove. As if that wasn't enough, Dave Bautista steals the show, once again, as Drax in the following TV spot! Where's May already?!?
GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 2 opens in theaters on May 5, 2017.
