Youtube Originals is not playin' with the release of the new red-band trailer for BODIED, a musically-charged comedic drama centered around a Berkeley grad student (Calum Worthy) who's chosen to study the art and culture of rap battling for his controversial thesis. Directed by Joseph Kahn and produced by rap legend Eminem, BODIED is the satirical story of Adam Merkin, a progressive grad student who becomes an accidental battle rapper whose success breeds outrage. The film stars Calum Worthy (AMERICAN VANDAL), Jackie Long (IDELWILD), Shoniqua Shondai (SING IT!, THE FOSTERS), Walter Perez (THE AVENGERS, FAME), Rory Uphold (HELLA). Also set to be featured in the film are well known battle rappers Dizaster, Dumbfoundead, Hollow Da Don and media personality Charlamagne Tha God.

Known for directing music videos for such high-profile musical acts as Wu Tang Clan and Taylor Swift, Kahn's BODIED looks to take the politics and verbal daggers of rap battling to the next level when his comedic culture clash arrives on YouTube November 2nd.
