Just after revealing details about the highly-anticipated fourth season of RICK AND MORTY, Adult Swim is ready to take the San Diego Convention Center's Indigo Room by storm by unleashing a panel for the fan-favorite animated TV series.

Here's a description for today's RICK AND MORTY panel, as hosted by Adult Swim:

Wubba lubba dub dub! The Emmy Award–winning series Rick and Morty is back for a highly anticipated fourth season, premiering November on Adult Swim. Executive producers and co-creators Dan Harmon (Community) and Justin Roiland (Adventure Time), and voice talent Spencer Grammer (Greek), Sarah Chalke (Scrubs). and Chris Parnell (Archer) invite fans to take a look at what they have cooking for the new season. Moderated by Rob Schrab (Creepshow, Community). (via Polygon)

Rick and Morty, Season 4, Adult Swim

Like I was saying, RICK AND MORTY recently revealed that their long-gestating fourth season will consist of 10 episodes, with work already being done for a fifth. The third season of RICK AND MORTY ended way back in 2017, leaving fans of the insanely popular series to Wubba lubba dub dub their sorrows into the nearest pickle jar while waiting for more updates. With the show returning this November, soon it will be time for all the beloved characters of the program to make their triumphant return.

As a special treat for those attending today's panel, con-goers were shown a sneak peek of a scene from the show's fourth season. From what I can gather – as someone who's never seen a single frame of the show – Morty is quite perturbed with an alien-type creature that looks like it's head is made out of Jell-O. After slapping the creature around for a while, an ominous beeping sound sends Morty and his Dad, Jerry Smith, running for cover.

In the lead-up to today's panel, it was recently revealed that New Zealand natives Taika Waititi and Sam Neill would be voicing characters on the show. And, if I'm not mistaken, that's Taika's voice coming out of the glob-like character, Glootie, featured in the scene above.

What? I already told you that I've never seen the show. Don't look at me like that. I bet I watch plenty of stuff that you don't, so there!

Ha ha ha! Anyway, I hope that you enjoyed the clip, as I know that droves of RICK AND MORTY fans have been chomping at the bit to get a taste of the new season. We'll be sure to report any major updates for the new season as they come down the line. Enjoy your Comic-Con weekend, folks!
