Teaser for The Hateful Eight may screen with Sin City: A Dame To Kill For

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

For a production that seemed to be doomed a few months ago, Quentin Tarantino‘s THE HATEFUL EIGHT seems to be moving at lightning speed. After sharing that the western would actually go into production this fall and unveiling a new poster for the movie, it appears that we will be getting a teaser for the movie in just over a week.

Slash Film uncovered an image on the Weinstein Company website for distributors that indicated there would be two trailers playing in front of copies of SIN CITY: A DAME TO KILL FOR. Check out the image below.

The site also claims the teaser will only play in front of SIN CITY: A DAME TO KILL FOR and will not be released online. Tarantino is good buddies with director Robert Rodriguez and even directed a single scene in the first SIN CITY film. Seeing as THE HATEFUL EIGHT hasn’t even begun filming, this will be a teaser in the truest sense of the word and a very cool marketing ploy to boost box office for the neo-noir film.

I don’t know about you, but I plan to be extra sure I check out SIN CITY: A DAME TO KILL FOR when it hits theaters on August 22nd.
