Marvel Studios is developing a handful of TV shows set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe for the Disney+ streaming service, and it's expected that the first one out of the gate will likely be The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, which find Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan reprising their MCU roles. The six-episode series has been shooting for several months, and Page Six has gotten the first look at Wyatt Russell (OVERLORD) in costume as John Walker aka U.S. Agent.

Wyatt Russell's U.S. Agent costume looks pretty damn close to the concept art which was released last year, but I'm excited to see him in action. In the comics, U.S. Agent  possesses many of the same abilities as Captain America, such as enhanced strength, agility, and reflexes. Creator Mark Gruenwald has said that he developed the character as a way to counter Captain America's optimistic patriotism, saying that he wanted someone "who embodied patriotism in a way that Captain America didn't—a patriotic villain."

In addition to Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, and Wyatt Russell, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier will also find Emily VanCamp reprising her role of Sharon Carter, the former S.H.I.E.L.D. agent who appeared in both CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER and CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR. While speaking with Entertainment Weekly last year, VanCamp teased that the Disney+ series will let us know "where Sharon's been all this time because she's been on the run." The Falon and the Winter Soldier will also feature Daniel Brühl, who played the villainous Baron Helmut Zemo in CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR.

There are a variety of other Marvel Cinematic Universe projects in the works for Disney+, including Loki starring Tom Hiddleston, WandaVision starring Paul Bettany and Elizabeth Olsen, Hawkeye with Jeremy Renner, Ms. Marvel, She-Hulk, Moon Knight, as well as What If…, an animated series which will examine key moments of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and give them a twist. The Falcon and the Winter Soldier is expected to debut on Disney+ later this year.
